Greaser: one with grease in their hair, a rocker, a social outlaw. More
Square: a regular normal person, a conformist. Someone who is not cool.
Daddy-o: A term used to address someone.
Cruisin' for a bruisin': looking for trouble.
Dig: to understand and approve of something.
Dolly: A cute girl.
Cat: A cool person.
Knuckle sandwich: a fist to the face.
Pooper: someone who's no fun at all.
Split: to leave.

The scene should be familiar...you move into a new apartment and the next door neighbor has a PA and a penchant for playing piano in the middle of the night.
